About

Andrew Malo usually tries to write country songs, but his indie capabilities keep him a healthy distance away from crossing over.  Concerned with the craft as much as the art of songwriting, his songs have, as Jon from shh-listen says, “true intimacy” and are “almost hypnotizing as they slowly unfold.”

Andrew always seems to find himself stuck in Chicago, resulting in his rambling heart finding solace on the highways of various songs - country, folk, solo piano, lullabies, and more.  Under the watchful eyes of refinement and sincerity, these songs develop and continue to aspire to new heights with each release in his growing discography.
